Nakalay Beach is located near the Patong/Kamala border sign and 4 km north of Patong Beach.
Here you'll find what beach life is all about. Fringed with casuarina trees providing picnic areas for locals, it's a shady spot for souvenir and food vendors.
Laid back to the extreme, most people who stay here find absolute relaxation. Parts of the of the beach are inside Sirinath National Park which also includes the reef at the north end of the beach.
Heading further south from Nakalay bay towards Patong, follow along the sea cliffs. Along the cliff tops are small restaurants serving cheap local food. A good place to eat while you take in the sea views. There is good rock fishing at the base of the cliffs.
Nakalay Beach is the private beach for Thavorn Beach Village.
